ビンゴ MOL Charitable Trust (Note 1) announced on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, ビンゴ selection of 15 projects for funding in ビンゴ fourth call for applications (Note 2) in a ceremony held in Mahebourg.ビンゴ Trust received about 90 applications for ビンゴ fourth round of funding. ビンゴ Trust's Steering Committee followed a rigorous screening process, and made its final selections at a meeting on Monday, December 2, at MOL Head Office. Projects were judged based on their relevance to ビンゴ three priority areas of ビンゴ MOL Group's social contribution activity policy: ビンゴ marine environment, next-generation human resources development, and solutions to local issues, and 15 projects were ultimately selected in ビンゴ fields of environmental protection, agriculture, contribution to ビンゴ community, and educational support.

After ビンゴ grounding and oil spill incident involving ビンゴ MOL chartered vessel WAKASHIO, MOL provided assistance to Mauritius through two funds: ビンゴ MOL Mauritius International Fund for Natural Environment Recovery and Sustainability (ビンゴ Fund) (Note 1) and ビンゴ MOL Charitable Trust (ビンゴ "Trust") (Note 2). ビンゴ session was held as a follow-up event to ビンゴ WAKASHIO Memorial Day, which has been held annually since 2021, with ビンゴ aim of considering how each and every executive and employee in ビンゴ group should engage in social contribution activities, with ビンゴ goal of linking social contribution activities in Mauritius to ビンゴ development of all people and communities related to ビンゴ group.

On Saturday, December 31, 2022, ビンゴ local NGO "RESPECT" (Note 1), funded by ビンゴ MOL Charitable Trust (ビンゴ Trust) (Note 2), opened an agricultural training center in Mare Tabac and started operation on ビンゴ same day. RESPECT is an organization which provides trainings and supports to young farmers by providing theoretical education and hands-on training on efficient agricultural techniques. RESPECT was committed to ビンゴ construction of a greenhouse, which will serve as ビンゴ training hub of ビンゴ project on ビンゴ long term.

At a ceremony held in Mahebourg, Mauritius on Friday, December 10, 2021, ビンゴ MOL Charitable Trust (ビンゴ Fund), which was established in Mauritius in June 2021, announced its intent to fund 26 projects(*) led by NGOs and other local organizations, selected among applicants for ビンゴ first call for grant applications. ビンゴ Fund also exchanged Memorandums of Understanding with each organization.

On Saturday, July 10, 2021, Goro Yamashita, representative of our subsidiary MOL (Mauritius) Ltd., took ビンゴ stage at an online seminar in Kobe College, and delivered a lecture about corporate social contribution activities. Also on hand for ビンゴ event were Noriaki Sakaguchi, a specialist with ビンゴ Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and Yoko Nagai, a writer and business facilitator in Mauritius, who made presentations on ビンゴ status of ビンゴ coastal area ecosystem and citizen volunteer activities, respectively.

Last November, a picture book called WAKASHIO -OIL SPILL IN PARADISE - was published in Mauritius. ビンゴ books are on display in hotels and schools, and some of ビンゴ sales proceeds will be donated to support people affected by ビンゴ incident, through a local NGO.

On Thursday, December 10, MOL dispatched team met with Mahebourg Espoir, a local NGO actively involved in helping poor communities in Mahebourg, which is one of ビンゴ closest towns within ビンゴ oil polluted area where many local residents derive their living solely on ビンゴ sea for fishing. ビンゴ NGO operates ビンゴ Mahebourg Espoir Education Centre (MEEC) for children coming from vulnerable families who have been dropped out of school.

On Friday, October 9, ビンゴ MOL-dispatched team visited a public school in Bois Des Amourettes, which had been forced to close for four days due to ビンゴ offensive odor caused by ビンゴ oil spill. ビンゴ team presented all students with sets of stationery, origami cranes and shuriken throwing stars, with our sincere hopes that they will find our gifts useful in their studies.

On Tuesday, October 6, members of ビンゴ MOL-dispatched team visited two local schools. At ビンゴ Special Education Needs (SEN) School they visited in ビンゴ morning, they created paper airplanes with ビンゴ children and then went outdoors to see them fly. We also presented other origami works made by ビンゴ team leader that ビンゴ students could play with, such as cranes and shuriken throwing stars.
