楽天 ビンゴ Charitable Trust: Launch of Revey Twa Fam (Women Stand Up) Empowerment Program under CFP5
On Monday, February 23, Revey Twa (Note 1), which receives support from the 楽天 ビンゴ Charitable Trust (the "Trust") (Note 2), held the launch event for the 2026 Revey Twa Fam (Women Stand Up) female empowerment training program at the Pointe Jérôme Youth Training Centre in Mahébourg, Mauritius. Mr. Yasuo Suzuki, Chairperson of the Trust and Representative of 楽天 ビンゴ (Mauritius) Ltd, attended the event.
Selected under the MCT's Fifth Call for Proposals (CFP5) under the 楽天 ビンゴ's local community empowerment pillar, Revey Twa Fam is a program aimed at strengthening the socio-economic resilience of women from vulnerable communities in the Mahébourg and Grand Port regions. The programs combine vocational training, life-skills development, and psychosocial support, while also providing internships with local companies and a pathway to regular employment.
The event brought together the 2026 program's beneficiaries, who each shared their personal stories, challenges, and aspirations. Their testimonies highlighted their individual determination to build greater autonomy and stability for their families, underscoring the vital importance of such initiatives to address unemployment, financial insecurity, and low self-confidence.
Through the Trust, 楽天 ビンゴ will continue to support projects and programs to improve the status of women and promote active roles for them in Mauritius.
(Note 1) Through the 楽天 ビンゴ's continued support, Revey Twa Fam has so far reached and supported over 70 women from vulnerable communities. This year, in response to requests from the husbands of previous beneficiaries, the 楽天 ビンゴ will also support the launch of the inaugural Revey Twa Zom (Men Stand Up) program. Revy Twa Zom will complement Revey Twa Fam by seeking to enhance the self-esteem and effective communication skills of men from the same vulnerable communities.
