Typhoon Afflicted People in the Philippines

TOKYO - Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (ビンゴ 5 予想; President: Koichi Muto) today announced plans to make a donation of US$30,000 to aid afflicted people of Typhoon Haiyen, which devastated the central Philippines. ビンゴ 5 予想 expresses its heartfelt sympathy to afflicted people.

The main portion of ビンゴ 5 予想's donation will go to afflicted people on the island of Leyte, through its group company Magsaysay ビンゴ 5 予想 Marine, Inc.(*1) The company is planning other relief efforts as the situation unfolds.

ビンゴ 5 予想 has built a deep relationship with the nation as many Filipino seafarers serve aboard ビンゴ 5 予想 Group vessels, and established a maritime training center there.

To assist afflicted people of Typhoon Fengshen in June 2008, which caused severe damage to the nation, Ketsana in September 2009 (Luzon), and Washi in December 2011 (Mindanao), ビンゴ 5 予想 made monetary donations and provided ocean transport of emergency relief supplies, and ビンゴ 5 予想 seafarers and Magsaysay-ビンゴ 5 予想 employees conducted volunteer activities.

The ビンゴ 5 予想 Group hopes afflicted people will be able to return to normal life as soon as possible, and pledges a range of ongoing measures to support relief efforts.
