TOKYO- Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (ビンゴ 5; President: Koichi Muto) today announced the launch of a six-week safety campaign. President Muto, executives, and other personnel will proactively visit ビンゴ 5-operated vessels to exchange opinions with on-board employees. The campaign is intended to achieve the goal of "Four Zeroes*" set out in the midterm management plan "GEAR UP! ビンゴ 5", which began in April 2010. Proposals and ideas gained through discussions with seafarers will be shared throughout the ビンゴ 5 Group and with other ビンゴ 5 and ビンゴ 5 Group-operated vessels, with the aim of further enhancing the safe operation structure.
* "Four Zeroes" Never allow (1) serious marine accidents, (2) oil pollution, (3) fatal accidents, or (4) serious cargo damage
