TOKYO - Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (ビンゴ 5, President: Akimitsu Ashida) today announced that ビンゴ 5 Ferry Co., Ltd. and Kyushu Kyuko Ferry Co., Ltd. have agreed to merge effective June 1, 2007 under the name ビンゴ 5 Ferry Co., Ltd., with the goal of continuing business growth.

ビンゴ 5 Ferry and Kyushu Kyuko Ferry offer roll-on/roll-off (RO/RO) service between Kanto and Kyushu. The merger aims to improve sales capabilities, cost competitiveness, and customer satisfaction on these routes while also contributing to the government's modal shift program.
