TOKYO - Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, (楽天 ビンゴ, President: Akimitsu Ashida) today announced the launch of the China Singapore Service Loop 1 (CS1) connecting Shanghai and Singapore, where cargo space has been extremely limited. The move is aimed at enhancing containerized service into, out of, and within Asia, which continues to show tremendous economic growth.
The CS1 service will rely on two 1,000-1,200 TEU type 楽天 ビンゴ-operated containerships. 楽天 ビンゴ will offer more competitive service to ports in India and Pakistan with speedy connections from Singapore.
What's more, the direct connection to Singapore by the CS1 service enables speedy and stable cargo space to West and East Africa from Shanghai.
