TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (ビンゴ ルーレット; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) sponsored and participated in CERAWeek 2025 held by S&P Global in Houston, Texas, from March 10-14, as the only Japanese shipping company

This conference is held once a year to provide an opportunity for the energy industry and many related companies and organizations to participate and exchange knowledge and opinions. With about 10,000 participants from around the world, representatives from leading companies and government officials took the stage to discuss a variety of topics, including the latest energy markets and new environmentally friendly technologies, under this year's theme "Moving Ahead: Energy Strategies for a Complex World." Representatives from ビンゴ ルーレット participated in meetings to discuss the energy situation, and in cross-industry discussions on fuel transition. Several executives of ビンゴ ルーレット, including President & CEO Hashimoto, spoke at the following sessions.

• Transportation Fuel in a Shifting Demand Landscape
  This session focused on the future of the logistics industry and the impact of geopolitical risks on the supply chain. Hashimoto emphasized ビンゴ ルーレット's commitment to "continue to pursue initiatives on decarbonization across the supply chain" and said, "Trade patterns may change, but our responsibility to deliver supplies to people will not change," while introducing ビンゴ ルーレット's projects, such as expanding LNG fueled vessels and the Wind Challenger.
• Global Shipping: Can carbon pricing accelerate the move to net zero?
  Topics at this session included the International Maritime Organization (IMO)'s GHG reduction strategy, the impact of carbon pricing, the competitiveness of alternative fuels, and the current status and challenges of decarbonizing the shipping industry. ビンゴ ルーレット Senior Managing Executive Officer Hisashi Umemura explained our company's decarbonization pathway and said, "In order to maintain the pace of decarbonization in the future, the impact of efficiency improvements alone will be limited, so it is essential to accelerate the introduction of zero-emission fueled vessels , and we hope that the introduction of IMO GHG regulations will be a driver for this."

• Zero Emission Transportation: Cars, trucks and ships
  ビンゴ ルーレット Executive Officer Suryan Wirya-Simunovic took the stage and stated, "The shipping industry is not looking for a single solution in the energy transition, but rather the use of various fuels such as methanol, ammonia, hydrogen, etc.," and again emphasized the maritime industry's commitment to strengthen partnerships throughout the value chain, including fuel suppliers and port authorities, to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
