ビンゴ 5 予想 Magsaysay Maritime Academy in Philippines Receives Accreditation under MLIT 'Japan International Ship System'

TOKYO-Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. (ビンゴ 5 予想; President & CEO: Takeshi Hashimoto) today announced that ビンゴ 5 予想 Magsaysay Maritime Academy (MMMA), jointly operated by ビンゴ 5 予想 and Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (Note 1), has received the certification on December 12 from the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) that the MMMA is in conformity with the requirements for the "Authorized Seafarer Education Institution" under JISS system.

Previously, graduates of overseas seafarer education institutions were required to pass an MLIT examination before being allowed to board Japanese-flagged vessels as seafarers. Thanks to the certification, seafarers who have completed the curriculum and graduated from the MMMA's Bachelor of Science program in Maritime Transport (BSMT) and in Maritime Engineering (BSME) and obtained a maritime license of the Philippines are exempt from the MLIT examination, allowing them to board Japanese-flagged vessels as officers or engineers.

Seafarer education institutions must meet MLIT's strict standards to obtain the certification, and this accreditation demonstrates the high quality and long-term credibility of MMMA's educational programs and the reliability that MLIT has placed in MMMA in terms of its educational structure, training facilities, and academic performance (Note 2).
